Help Support Will Van Houten’s Recovery
Donation protected
On April 21, 2025, Will Van Houten was seriously injured in a car accident on State Street in Watertown, New York. While exiting his driveway, his SUV was struck by another vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The impact was severe enough that emergency crews had to use the "jaws of life" to free him from the wreckage.
Will’s dog, Nala, was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. Nala suffered superficial wounds and thankfully is recovering well with her grandparents.
Will was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, where he underwent multiple emergency surgeries. After several days of treatment, he is now back home. However, he faces a long road to recovery and will require 24/7 care and support for the foreseeable future.
This fundraiser has been created to help with Will’s medical expenses, legal costs, and the specialized care he will need as he heals. Contributions will go directly toward helping Will and our family manage the significant challenges ahead.
We appreciate any donation, large or small, as well as any help in sharing this campaign with others who may want to support Will’s recovery.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
