Help Support Wesley Through the Fight of His Life

I’m raising funds for my dear friend Wesley, who is currently facing the most challenging chapter of his life.

Over the past four months, Wesley has been in and out of hospitals with over 12 emergency room visits and enduring more than 78 doctor appointments including neurologists, urologists, cardiologist, endocrinologist, ophthalmologist, and internal Md's in an urgent search for answers. He’s experiencing a terrifying range of unexplained symptoms including chronic dehydration, extreme fatigue, sleeplessness, inability to sweat, blurred vision, loss of balance, and weakness in the limbs and an altered sense of perspective among others. Despite endless testing, the root cause remains a mystery.

Wesley, a dedicated sports medicine Athletic Trainer, has spent years helping top athletes and performers recover, rebuild, and return to peak performance. He’s the one who lifts others up, who cheers on every victory — big or small — and who always puts others before himself. I first met him when he was an Athletic Trainer at Disneyland, and from day one, it was clear how deeply he cares for the wellbeing of others.

But now Wesley can’t work. He’s physically and emotionally exhausted, isolated, and navigating this health crisis alone — made even harder by the heartbreak he experienced just before these symptoms began. In a painful twist of fate, he’s now receiving care from several of the team that helped his mother beat cancer just a few years ago.

It’s time we show up for him the way he’s shown up for so many. Wesley needs our support — to help with mounting medical costs, everyday living expenses, and to give him a fighting chance at healing without the added weight of financial stress.
