My name is Walter. I am a disabled veteran. I am going through medical testing to be placed on the transplant list for a major organ. My wife, Lisa, is a special education paraeducator. My doctor requires that Lisa go with me to all of my medical appointments. He also requested that she stay at home with me to provide full-time care. She has exhausted all of her medical and vacation leave at work. Now, she is taking leave without pay to care for me. We are having difficulty meeting our basic living expenses: food, utilities and gasoline to get to doctor's appointments. Any help that you could provide to help us to get back on track and prepare to go to Oregon for additional medical testing, would be greatly appreciated. A little bit goes a long way. Thank you for allowing me to share my story with you. I will be going through what the Doctors call ablasion . This time I have two cancerous tumors . I will be in the Hospital twice once on Wednesday the 10th then on the 15 and 16th the following week. THE Doctors did a mapping and they said that would be the best way to go about getting to the cancerous tumors. We ate really needing financial help from our friends and thank you for your donations the time before I had cancer .
