Our dear brother, son, husband and father Val Barleac was recently involved in a tragic accident while out hunting, which left him with a severe neck and spine injury from the impact of a bullet. The accident was not hunting-related, but it resulted in life-threatening injuries that required him to be airlifted to the hospital for emergency surgery. 

By God’s mercy, Val is alive — but he now faces a long and challenging road to recovery and physical therapy.

 Val is a man deeply loved by all who know him — a devoted husband to Zhanna and a loving father to their four beautiful children. He is kind, humble, hardworking, and full of faith. Those who know Val know his heart — he’s the kind of person who would give without ever asking for anything in return. This tragedy has completely changed life for Val and his family.

As the sole provider, Val has always worked hard to care for his wife and children. Now, unable to work and facing overwhelming medical expenses, their family is carrying a heavy burden — emotionally, physically, and financially.

 Yet through every tear and sleepless night, their faith remains unshaken. They continue to trust that God is near to the brokenhearted and mighty to save. We are standing together in faith, believing that the same God who spared Val’s life will also bring full healing and restoration.
