We're raising £5,000 towards the overall cost of delivering Hyde Park Unity Day 2026, a free community event celebrating unity, inclusion, wellbeing, and cultural diversity in Leeds.

Hyde Park Unity Day brings together local residents, community groups, charities, performers, businesses, young people, families, and older generations for a day of connection, celebration, learning, and positive community action. Through live entertainment, cultural performances, wellbeing activities, community stalls, youth engagement, and family-friendly experiences, we aim to create a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and included.

While the total cost of delivering the event is significantly higher, this fundraising campaign will help support key areas of community impact:

£1,000 – Youth engagement activities, workshops, mentoring opportunities, and creative projects that empower young people.

£1,000 – Senior wellbeing initiatives, helping older members of our community participate in a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment.

£1,000 – Community groups, charities, and grassroots organisations that provide support, information, and opportunities for local residents.

£1,000 – Event safety, welfare, and safeguarding measures, including stewarding, first aid, and community support services.

£1,000 – Accessibility support, equipment, family activities, and inclusive community programming.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps us bring people together, celebrate diversity, reduce isolation, promote wellbeing, and strengthen community spirit across Leeds.
