Help Support Tyler’s Breakfast Club at New Fosseway School

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Meg, and I’m fundraising for something very close to my heart my son Tyler’s breakfast club at his specialist school, New Fosseway.

Tyler is 10 years old, non-verbal, and has severe autism.
One of the things that really supports his day is the consistent, comforting routine of breakfast club. He attends it daily, and it plays a huge part in setting him up for a calm and successful start to his school day.

For children like Tyler who struggle to communicate their needs, emotions, and preferences something as simple as breakfast can make a big difference. Over time, we’ve learned that Tyler absolutely loves fruit, and more specifically, he insists on M&S fruit. The texture, size, and consistency are very important to him (and many of the other children), especially with sensory sensitivities.

Unfortunately, extras like this aren’t in the school’s budget. The amazing breakfast club staff who already give so much often reach into their own pockets to buy these special items. They do this not because they have to, but because they care. And without them, so many of us parents would have much more difficult mornings.

I’d love to give back and not just for Tyler, but for all the children who benefit from this little piece of consistency and kindness every morning.

What I’m Raising Money For:
A shopping card for the breakfast club staff to use throughout the school year

To cover weekly extras like fruit and other sensory-friendly food items

To relieve the personal cost from staff who are already doing so much

This fundraiser isn’t about luxury it’s about meeting children’s specific needs in small but important ways. Every little bit will go directly toward making mornings better for kids with autism and other additional needs.

To help raise money, myself and our local boxing club FIGHT KLUB BEDMINSTER will be climbing Crooks Peak. The club, run by the amazing Marcia Guest, has become a second family to many of us, and it means the world to me and Tyler to have their support.

Tyler is also going to be attempting his own 5km in the school holiday’s for a contribution towards this which will be incredibly challenging for him! so wish us luck - pictures too follow!

Any donation, big or small, will make a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
