I am a college freshman who adores my pet cat Tux. He is a 7 year old tuxedo cat that we adopted from an abusive household when he was only half a year old, and ever since then he has become an integral part of my family and my heart. He helped me get through some of the darkest times in my life with my clinical depression and social anxiety. He is the sweetest baby boy who will always show up and comfort you when you need it most, and is an incredible cuddler. A couple of days ago he suddenly started urinating and puking blood, and after taking him to the vet we found out that he suffered from acute kidney failure and would need treatment. The price of the treatment is much higher then what would be financially viable for me and my mom, and with the economic future looking uncertain it will look like treating Tux will likely led to a dangerous financial situation. Please please please help Tux.
