Help Support Tucker Bruce With His Surgery

Hi, my name is Bennett Vasquez and I am writing for my friend Tucker Bruce. Late last week he was involved in a scooter accident and fell on glass which lacerated his hand. Immediately he was taken to the hospital to get stitches and an evaluation of his hand. The doctor concluded he had cut a major artery in his hand along with severed tendons and nerve damage. Tucker went into surgery on Thursday to repair his hand and to define the extent of his hand injury. After the 5 1/2 hour surgery, it was realized that Tucker had a lot more damage to his hand than expected. He tore four tendons, punctured an artery, and has severe nerve damage. Currently Tucker can't move any of his fingers on his left hand. The recovery process is 12 months for Tucker to fully regain control and feeling in his hand. Tucker does not have insurance to cover the surgery, doctor, and ER visit. He is also unable to pay for the medical expenses. On top of the 50 hours he works a week over the summer to pay for daily needs at school, Tucker is on a full ride at USC as a result of his financial need and academic achievements.  This GoFundMe is to cover Tucker's medical bills, any support is greatly appreciated.
