Help Trysten Attend The Carpenter Shed Program

We are seeking your support to send our son, Trysten, to The Carpenter Shed program. Trysten became a part of our family at 13 when we adopted him in Texas. He comes from a background of severe abuse and spent over eight years in the foster care system, enduring significant trauma. Over the past four years, we have explored various counseling and therapies to aid in his healing. While we have experienced moments of progress, there have also been setbacks, and we have now reached a critical juncture in his journey.

Due to safety concerns, Trysten currently cannot live at home, and Nathan will be residing with him in a separate household for the time being. Our hearts are broken, but we trust in God’s plan and believe that The Carpenter Shed program is a crucial part of Trysten’s healing process. We have placed a deposit to hold his spot for a six-month treatment program, but this only secures our place for 30 days. The program costs $65,550, and while our insurance covers a small portion, we are actively working to raise the remaining funds.

If we cannot raise the necessary amount, Nathan will continue to live with Trysten at a separate location until he turns 18. We remain strong in our faith, believing that God is working through this situation to bring healing to our son.
