Help Support Tristan Thompson’s Recovery Journey
Over the 4th of July holiday week, 19-year-old Tristan Thompson experienced a serious mountain biking accident that resulted in a spinal cord injury. He was quickly life-flighted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, where he received emergency surgery from an incredible Neuro Trauma team.
Tristan sustained a broken neck and significant damage to his spinal cord, and right now, he is facing the challenge of limited movement from the neck down. But if you know Tristan, you know he’s a fighter. His strength, determination, and positive spirit are already shining through as he begins this journey surrounded by the love of his family, friends, and medical team.
The road ahead will involve intensive rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, and ongoing care — but with your support, Tristan will not walk this path alone. Your prayers, encouragement, and contributions will help provide the resources he needs to heal, grow stronger, and reclaim independence one step at a time.
Let’s rally around Tristan and lift him up as he writes the next chapter of his story — one of courage, community, and hope.
