Dear Friends and Family,

We're reaching out to get support for our dear sister, mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, and friend Tracy Feydo. She has recently been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a pre-leukemia condition. Her treatment plan requires clinical trial chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. Tracy's journey is going to be long and difficult; physically, emotionally, and financially....and has already deeply affected her and her family. She will need to travel away from her home in Corpus Christi to stay in Houston for treatments at MD Anderson Hospital for up to 3 months starting in January. In addition, she has to cut short the final year of her beloved 30 year teaching career with the Corpus Christi School District...the realization that she will be ending her career this way has been heartbreaking for Tracy.

Tracy's journey to recovery will require significant out-of-pocket expenses, including housing and assisted care, travel expenses for her husband Pete to go back and forth from Corpus to Houston during her treatment, lost wages, prescriptions, and deductibles. These expenses are an unfortunate reality of this kind of diagnosis. Any amount of assistance for our sweet Tracy is so very much appreciated!
