2020 has been quite the year so far, and to top it all off, Todd was unexpectedly diagnosed with tongue cancer this past April. Within weeks, what was thought to be a simple canker sore exploded into something much more serious. Suddenly overwhelemed with doctor appointments and surgery prep, the family was not prepared to undertake the huge bills that come along with this, especially during the covid-19 pandemic.

While Todd is on the road to recovery after receiving multiple skin graphs, a neck incision, and tongue reconstruction, the bills piling up are unexpected and overbearing. He is now undertaking 6 weeks of tiring radiation, which will affect his ability to work. He is staying strong and keeping a positive attitude, but the road to recovery is difficult! No one is ever truly prepared to tackle this kind of battle. 

This year has been so hard for so many. Todd and his wife Ruby are kind, generous people who have helped many in their time of need - now it's time for those who can to support them in theirs.
