Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to read this story. We are the Jackson County Clerk of Court’s Office and we are reaching out on behalf of Todd and his wife, Robin—two devoted public servants in Jackson County who now urgently need our community’s support.

Todd is a Correctional Officer at the Ag Center in Jackson County and Robin serves as a Juvenile Deputy Clerk for the Jackson County Clerk of Court. They have spent their lives helping others. Now, as Todd faces a life-or-death medical crisis, it’s our turn to help them.

Who They Are and Why We’re Reaching Out

For years, Todd and Robin have shown up—day in and day out—for the people of Jackson County. Todd has worked in corrections with honor and dedication, while Robin has supported countless families through the juvenile court system. They’ve served with compassion and strength.

Today, they’re in the fight of their lives. And they need our help.

Todd’s Health Crisis: A Sudden Turn That Changed Everything

On June 17, Todd underwent emergency open heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and replace his aortic valve. The procedure was extensive and urgent—and has led to the most critical chapter yet.

Following surgery, doctors determined that a heart transplant is now necessary to save Todd’s life.

Todd remains in the hospital, bravely holding on as he awaits a heart transplant. The days ahead are filled with uncertainty, hope, and an unwavering will to survive.

Both Todd and Robin are on extended leave from work. Their focus is entirely on Todd’s care and the path to recovery—but the weight of financial stress grows heavier each day.
