Help Support Todd Baron After the Loss of His Beloved Wife

My name is Nancy España, and I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help support my dear family friend, Todd Baron, who is grieving the loss of his beloved wife, Kathleen “Kt” Baron. Kt passed away on June 16, 2025, after years of health challenges — but that’s not the story we want to focus on.

Kt was so much more than her illness. To know Kt was to feel cared for, included, and genuinely loved. She had a gift for creating joy, especially for the children in her community. She and Todd were apartment managers, but to the families who lived there, Kt was so much more — a mentor, a friend, a second mom, and a beacon of kindness.

Kt made magic out of the everyday. She created “Kt’s Summer Program,” filled with fun activities for kids. She hosted craft days, soap-making sessions with fun molds, plaster painting afternoons, and movie nights with popcorn. Every Easter, she would hard-boil hundreds of eggs so every child could dye their own. At Christmas, she made sure no child went without a gift. She led group walks to Michael’s for the next craft activity, took kids on car trips to Dollar Tree, and turned her own kitchen into a workshop for making chicken soup together. She even held spa days, teaching the kids to make bath bombs and creations using essential oils. Every moment with Kt was a memory in the making.

She gave endlessly without ever asking for anything in return.

Her absence leaves an ache in the hearts of many — especially her husband, Todd. As he begins to navigate life without Kt, our hope is to surround him with the same love and support she gave so freely to others. This fundraiser is to help Todd with immediate expenses and to give him some peace of mind during this incredibly difficult time.

Ella daba sin fin, sin pedir nunca nada a cambio.

Su ausencia deja un vacío en los corazones de muchos, especialmente en el de su esposo, Todd.
