Cancer Sucks!! Help support Cari (Krotak) Dixon

Hi, my name is Lisa McGranahan. Cari is my best friend, the one who is always up for anything, always there, loves unconditionally and is my biggest supporter. We met in high school in 1996 and the rest is history. We have been through it all with each other and I wouldn't have it any other way.

For those of you who know her, you may know her story. For those who don't, let me share her story with you.

Cari is a single mother of 4. She has been battling metastatic breast cancer for 14 years. After having her 4th child, Ever, Cari suspected she had a clogged milk duct, however, that was not the case and she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Cari under went surgery to have the cancer and her breasts removed, only for it to spread years later.

Cari is a devoted mother of 4, a friend and a family member to many. She has proudly raised two daughters and two sons on her own over the years. She has worked tirelessly to provide the best life for them, all while battling breast cancer throughout nearly the entirety of their lives. Cari has not let cancer dilute her experiences with her family and friends, she has provided a quality of love, fun and memories with everyone she has crossed paths with.

Now, with the unknown of her time here with us, Cari needs our help. She has incredible family and friends who will help care for her children, the most important part of her life, but the financial burden is a lofty one. On top of medical bills and the cost of maintaining a household, there is also the need to prepare for a funeral. Let us help lighten the burden for Cari and her family in these days. Let us help provide a celebration of life as beautiful as Cari.
