Help Support Timothy After the Loss of His Partner, Meredith
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
Three months ago, I lost the love of my life, Meredith Ashley “Doc Otter” Drottar. Meredith was my partner, my best friend, my show buddy, and the person who lit up my world in ways I can’t fully express. From our adventures to concerts to the quiet moments at home, she brought so much joy, love, and laughter to everyone she met.
As many of you know, Meredith passed away unexpectedly after suffering a brain bleed caused by an arteriovenous malformation (AVM). She fought bravely, but ultimately, we had to say goodbye. Since then, I have been struggling with not only the immense emotional weight of her loss but also the financial challenges that have come with it.
Meredith was a passionate and giving person, always helping others as a counselor and therapist. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and her loss has left a hole in my heart and in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Now, I am reaching out to those who loved her, who loved us, and those who might find it in their hearts to help.
In the months since her passing, I’ve been working to process the grief, keep up with the bills, and navigate life without her by my side. The financial caring for our dogs, memorial expenses, and daily living has been overwhelming, and I am struggling to keep afloat. I was supposed to be receiving benefits from the state of Colorado through the FAMLI+ program, but have not received any payments yet. As you can imagine, this has added stress to an already difficult time
It is with a humble heart that I’m asking for support to help with the financial challenges I face as I navigate this difficult chapter of my life. The funds raised will go toward:
-Helping payoff debt incurred since Meredith passed
-Paying for monthly living costs
-Supporting ongoing counseling and mental health care
Meredith would have been the first person to give everything she had to help those in need. If you are able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in allowing me to move forward and begin to heal.
Meredith’s legacy of love, kindness, and advocacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched. She would want us to continue to support each other, to spread love and kindness wherever we go, and to fight for the causes that mattered to her.
If you would like to honor Meredith’s memory, please consider donating to the charities she supported: The Divided Sky Foundation, The Mariosa Fund, or The Trevor Project. These organizations were important to her, and supporting them would mean so much to me.
Thank you for your love, support, and for keeping Meredith’s spirit alive. I can never fully express how much it means to me to have a community of people who cared about her and continue to care about me.
With deep gratitude,
Timothy “Pepe” Edington
