Help Support Three Abandoned Brothers

Donation protected
Three young brothers in Kenya were recently abandoned at a police station. No parents. No belongings. Just three frightened children holding on to each other.

The eldest two are now living in an orphanage, where the oldest brother, 13-year-old Lorris Wafula (pictured), is trying to be strong for his brother Lawrence (pictured). The youngest, has been separated from them and is being cared for in a children's home by Nuns.

Lorris, the eldest, has albinism, a rare and difficult condition in Kenya. His skin burns easily in the intense sun and his eyesight is poor, which means he needs specialist creams and protective glasses just to stay safe and to be able to learn at school. Despite everything he has been through, Lorris dreams of learning farming so that one day he can work and provide for his siblings himself.

Their story reached Reverend Margaret in Billericay, who heard about them when she visited the orphanage in Kenya. Thanks to the generosity of Ground Control’s charitable arm, EverCare, Lorris will now be sponsored for the next four years so he can receive the medical care and education he desperately needs to fulfil his dream.

But his two younger siblings are still without support.

One of them is only three years old and is currently separated from their elder brothers. Efforts to trace their parents have been unsuccessful and they have now been classified as orphans.

Without sponsorship, the orphanage struggles to provide the food, care, clothing and education these siblings need to grow up safely. After already losing their parents, the last thing they need is to lose is the chance of a future together.

We are asking for help to support the two younger siblings — to make sure this small family of three can stay together, go to school, and grow up with hope rather than fear.

If you can spare anything at all, or you or the company that you work for, can sponsor one of the younger siblings, you will be helping to protect these vulnerable children who have already lost so much.

Your kindness could help give them safety, protection, education, and the chance of a better life.

Thank you for being part of their story. ❤️
