There are moments in life when we wish we could take away someone’s pain and make everything better. This is one of those moments.

As a friend and colleague of Marissa and Lewis, it is heartbreaking to see their family facing something no parent should ever have to experience.

At just 8 months old, their beautiful baby girl, Iris, has already undergone surgery to remove a brain tumor. While the tumor has been removed, doctors believe there is a strong possibility that it is cancerous. As Marissa and Lewis wait for answers and prepare for what may lie ahead, they are facing every parent’s worst nightmare, along with the fear and uncertainty of what the future holds for their precious little girl.

During a time when their only focus should be on Iris, her recovery, and being there for one another, the added stress of medical bills, everyday expenses, and time away from work can become overwhelming.
