Our family’s 3 year old Pyrenees coon hound mix Theo started having some back leg trouble. We thought hip or ACL issues, but the Vet is now thinking neurological or degenerative issues after X-Rays showed hips and knees looked good. Have to now proceed with MRI then Surgery. I’ve never done anything like this, always taken care of things on my own. But he means so much to my wife, daughter and I. He’s a part of our family and I just don’t think I’ll be able to live with myself putting him down 3 years into his life without doing absolutely everything I can for him.
