Help Support the Waite Family

On the evening of June 5th 2020, Coulter, lost his father due to a sudden and tragic accident. His father was found by EMS unresponsive, they were unable to successfully revive him . He was only 33 years old. Eight days later, Coulter had his 5th birthday. He was still unaware of his father’s passing. His mother, Jessica Waite, hasn’t be able to find the words to even begin to explain that his father is gone, and that he will never be able to see him again. I can’t begin to imagine the burden of this. How do you tell a little boy their daddy is gone forever, without breaking their heart?

Jessica is hoping to have a memorial bench placed in Victoria Park (Kitchener) as both a tribute to Matthew and a place where Coulter, Jessica and other family members can sit, talk, reflect and remember him.   Victoria Park is a place important to Jessica and Matthew,  its where the shared their first kiss, and years later where Matthew proposed to Jessica.  

The memorial bench with plaque costs $2,600, were hoping to help Jessica raise these funds and allow them a place to grieve.  Although Coulter is only 5, we're hoping this bench will allow him a place to sit with his father and feel presence and spend time with him.

 If any additional funds are raised, they will be used to help support the family during this difficult time.
