Help Support the Victim of a Horrific Assault

On October 15th, my sister was attacked by the ex-girlfriend of her friend. This woman caused a distraction, causing him to go outside, then snuck into his house, locked the door, and proceeded to attack my sister. She stabbed her 5 times in her stomach and several other areas. My sister was on the verge of dying by the time the ambulance came and got her and had to have extensive surgery on her abdomen. She has injuries to her abdomen, thigh, arm, and both of her hands have defensive wounds. She has been in the ICU but has a great prognosis as of 10/17. The woman has been arrested on burglary charges until the DA is given medical records to see if there is the possibility of additional charges.
