Help Support the Vazdauskas Family

Hey Friends-
Erin just updated me on Luke’s journey. He just finished up his second to last intense chemo treatment. It was the round where it wasn’t unexpected to end up in the hospital with low blood counts and that’s what happened. He just returned home after 4 blood transfusions and 6 days in the hospital. He is feeling pretty good considering, but his immune system is severely immunocompromised. He has one more 8-week intense round before he enters the maintenance phase (which will last two years.) He also can’t receive the COVID vaccine until he is in maintenance. To get him outside, Erin and David were hoping to make their backyard a space that Luke would like to spend time in and enjoy with friends or family while still social distancing. They’ve been trying to figure out how to make their backyard more private and would love a fire pit and some nice landscaping. I’d love to help them with their idea. If you’d like to help them with this, please consider donating.
Bills and deductibles will continue to tally up and it takes a village to raise a child, so thank you all for supporting this family in their time of need.

As many of you know, the Vazdauskas family was dealt a low blow last fall with Luke's diagnosis of B Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. Already reeling with the COVID 19 challenges in day to day life, this added to their stresses. Families and friends have been amazing with meals and gift cards to keep them going through treatments and the holidays.
As we all know- January makes reality hit a bit harder than most months.
Medical bills are eminent and as their "village" we thought it would be helpful to support them in another way with this GoFundMe.
Please - donate if you can and share with others you know who would like to make things a little easier on this amazing family.
