After many decades, the daycare that has been like a second home to our children is closing its doors — unexpectedly and permanently. The amazing teachers at Lamb of God Child Care Center, who have nurtured, taught, comforted, and loved our little ones through some of their most important early years are now out of a job, with very little notice and no safety net.

These educators have shown up every single day with patience, joy, and dedication. They’ve wiped tears (ours and our kids’!), taught first words, encouraged first steps, and made every child feel safe and seen. Their impact on our families can’t be measured — and now it’s our turn to show up for them.

I’m creating this fundraiser as a small way to say thank you and to help support these wonderful teachers during this sudden transition. All donations will be divided among the staff to help cover bills, groceries, job-hunting needs, and hopefully ease the burden as they look for new opportunities.
