Help support the Strang family

In the early morning hours of January 27th, Kevin Strang experienced a massive heart attack. His wife, Kim, heard a thud and immediately started CPR until the paramedics arrived. It took 30 minutes of CPR by the paramedics to revive Kevin.
He is in the Cardiovascular ICU at a Vancouver hospital. He is in a medically induced coma. Two stents were placed yesterday to clear the blockages. His cognitive abilities cannot be tested until they can warm him up and begin bringing him out of sedation, which hopefully will be tomorrow afternoon. This afternoon he was able to move all four of his extremities. So this is a very positive sign!
The last 36 hours have been incredibly emotional for Kim and their two amazing daughters. I just can't imagine the fear they are experiencing. Kevin is a fighter and he will do everything to get home to be with his family!
Kevin is also a veteran. He has short term disability through his work and he also has VA benefits, which Kim will be looking into. (It is hard to think of everything that needs to be done, when your husband is fighting for his life and every waking moment is filled with worry and tears).
Friends have started a meal train. And dinner for the next two weeks is covered. More slots will open as we learn about his estimated length of stay and recovery process.
We humbly ask for financial help as Kim has taken time off of work so she can be with their daughters and go to the hospital which is 45 minutes away. She also must wait until the short term disability paperwork is filed before a check is released. As you are aware, short term disability pays a percentage of your weekly wages and Kevin's percentage is 50%.
Any amount you are able to give will go to their monthly expenses and will also pay for gas to go back and forth to the hospital. Most importantly, prayers and well wishes are greatly appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping my brother and his family!
