Donation protected
A member of our River Forest family has been dealt a blow that is hard to wrap our brains around. Arielle Labinjo (A rising 3rd grader at Willard) and Ashlie Stapleton lost both their father and partner in a tragic accident this summer. As parents, we can only imagine how tough this is to grasp for those left trying to navigate life during this difficult time.
We wanted to come together and support both Ashlie and Arielle during this difficult time. They have so many unknowns to conquer as they transition to their new normal - childcare before and after school, getting ready for a new school year while trying to process the grief and really just adjusting to life without a father and partner.
In addition to a light meal train, we wanted to set up a "Go Fund Me" to help both Ashlie and Arielle in their time of need. They can use the donations as they see fit. If we can lighten the load and make things even a little easier, we are making River Forest proud. I am so thankful to have found this community that rallies around each other whether we are neighbors, schoolmates or a friend simply not yet met.
