Help Support the Silvershine Jazz Club for 2021
Donation protected
Hi all,
Hope you are keeping safe and well!
Since Andy Hamilton, founder of the club, passed away, we have run the Silvershine without any external funding, paying the musicians solely from the door money. Along with the Silvershine Jazz Club, the Corks Club venue has unfortunately suffered as a result of Covid-19. We are now having to pay increased venue and waiting staff costs to comply with Covid restrictions.
Before the second national lockdown, we were able to put on three fabulous, socially-distanced gigs with a smaller audience. We are desperate to keep the club running into 2021, not only for Vic and local musicians, but for the many talented young musicians in Birmingham who we always welcome to play at the club.
In order to raise funds, we’ve decided to set up a GoFundMe page, with all donations receiving a link to a fabulous recording session. If we reach our set target, we will be able to run the club as we have done so in past years, as well as hopefully be able to record an album live from the Silvershine.
The songs feature Vic Evans, Xhosa Cole, Tim and Gabriel Amann, Ray Pablo Brown, Poppy Wilkes, Louis Hamilton-Foad and Paul Foad, not forgetting our sound engineers Aaron B. Thompson and Stephen Reddan and our photographer Charles Weston.
ONCE YOU HAVE MADE A DONATION, SIMPLY SEND US AN EMAIL OR MESSAGE VIA EITHER OUR FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM PAGES LINKED BELOW TO RECEIVE THE RECORDING SESSION LINK :

Finally, we would like to thank the musicians and audience for your continued support to the Silvershine Jazz Club over the years. It would not have been possible to carry on for so long without you guys.
Much love, the Silvershine Jazz Club.
