Hi, everyone. I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Rachel, her husband, Stephen, and their three kids. They’re still facing overwhelming challenges and need support.

On October 1st, at 38 years old, Stephen had a stroke and underwent open carotid surgery. He’s recovering, but tires easily. Then, on October 24th, Rachel had a procedure for chronic pain that led to a cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) leak. She’s had two failed blood patches, is temporarily disabled, and must lie flat most of the time. An MRI also revealed a stroke risk that may require surgery. Meanwhile, their youngest daughter, Mila, has weekly speech therapy, and Stephen will have heart surgery in December to reduce his stroke risk.

Their 14-year-old daughter, Ariana, has been cooking many of their meals and taking care of her siblings, but she deserves to focus on her schoolwork and being a normal teenager.

Donations would go toward meals to relieve Ariana, as well as the 30% of medical bills not covered by insurance.
