What started as a family trip to California to celebrate Breanna’s grandpa's 90th birthday turned into her water breaking at 23 weeks pregnant. She was admitted to Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Orange indefinitely until the baby comes and is on full bed rest in the hospital until the baby is born. We are praying the baby stays inside mama as long as possible. Every day is a victory and miracle! Praying for a strong heartbeat, stable blood pressure, praying for bleeding to go away, and praying an infection does not occur in Jesus' name!

This has been very difficult to let go of being the primary caretaker to the kids, ages 4 and 7. Family and friends have gathered together to help. The plan after the baby arrives is to recover and get an Airbnb near CHOC Hospital so it makes daily visits easier to see the baby. They want this next transition to be as normal feeling as possible for the kids. At this point, they can have mama back, get the dog out here from Idaho, and be out here in the Airbnb for all the months the baby is recovering in the neonatal department.

They anticipate the unforeseen cost of medical bills and extra living expenses from Breanna being in the hospital for up to a few months and/or the baby being in the neonatal hospital for a few months.
