Liz Saramago recently suffered a sudden cardiac arrest while on vacation in Pennsylvania and was airlifted to a hospital for specialized care. She is currently on a ventilator and sedated to support her recovery as her body heals. She will remain in Pennsylvania for the foreseeable future.

Her family is facing an unexpected and difficult road ahead as they stay by her side and hope for her recovery.
