I have known the Russo family for 16 years. We have birthed and raised most of our babies together. The Russos are among the kindest humans you could ever possibly know. Both of them willing to give their shirt off their backs to anyone in need. And right now, they find themselves in dire need of our help.

Phil was rushed to the hospital a week ago following a stroke, and continued to have strokes in the hospital. Eventually, he was diagnosed with endocarditis and is now facing open heart surgery this week. It feels absolutely bananas to even type that sentence. Phil is probably the strongest human I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, I can't even imagine how hard this experience feels for him.

Phil is the sole source of income for the Russo family, and his work is quite physical. It may be some time before he can return to his usual level of work.

And that's where we come in! Lets raise funds for this absolutely amazing family so that all they have to worry about in the coming weeks is nursing Phil back to health and being together as a family after such a long time apart.
