Hello, everybody!
First, thank you for taking the time to read this. I really, really appreciate it.
In December of 2023, my lovely Mother, Joyce Dennison passed due to a case of Lung Cancer.
I exhausted all of my savings obtained from my full time job, to take care of the presented bills including her cremation.
Since then, I have been financially responsible for my Father, Dale Dennison as well. He is a victim of COPD, and is unfortunately on the last leg of his life and unable to work.
I have been relatively capable of doing such for the past nine months, until late July this year. Dale has been suffering for a while, and has yet to be approved for disability. This is his first application, so there may be a chance of denial as well.
He's going through the motions, going to the necessary appointments, all thanks to his Medicaid plan. Since I was under the age of 26, I was under the impression I was on his health care plan as a dependent of some sorts.
I was met with a harsh reality when I was rushed to the ER with symptoms of severe dehydration, only to discover a puncture in my esophagus and air building up around my lungs.
A few days later, I have accumulated over twenty thousand dollars worth of medical bills, and I am uninsured.
I have my own housing and vehicle expenses, (not to mention other expenses like food, internet, phone, etc.) as well as my father’s lot rent, mortgage, etc. as well.
Now after this recent debt acquisition, I find myself at a loss of resources.
I work full time and then some to make sure ends meet, and it seems like that reality is straying further and further from possible each and every day.
My name is Robert Dennison, I am twenty-one years old, and I am creating this GoFundMe as a last ditch effort of desperation.
The funds will go towards maintaining my father’s house and bills to ensure he can live the last amount of his life in the trailer we grew up in and not the street, and towards my medical bills.
Thank you SO much, each and every one of you who took the time to read this, it truly means the world.
