In memory of Muhammad Hassan Qureshi

Assalamu Alaikum,

On January 13 our entire world changed. My beloved husband passed away due to a sudden heart attack. Every time I close my eyes, I relive that moment over and over again. He is survived by a wife and a 17 year old daughter.

Hassan had a vibrant personality. He was kind and loving. Always willing to help who ever needed it. He was my best friend and my greatest confidant. I don’t think we will ever stop missing him. He was the lifeline of our family.

Hassan’s dream was to see our daughter graduate from college. She is currently a senior in high school and plans to enroll in an electrical engineering program this fall.

He recently traveled back to Pakistan after a period of 12 years. He got to see his siblings and spend time with family. Hassan returned to the U.S on the 6th of January, but he just wasn’t himself. Little did we know, we had less than a week left with him.

My husband was a very hard working man. He always provided for my daughter and I. He made sure we never had to worry about anything. He made sure we felt safe and happy. However our Hassan is no longer with us. My daughter and I have no way to support ourselves. He always went out of his way to help and support our community. In Shaa Allah I have faith that this community will support his family after his departure.
