Sayward Owsley is a mom, wife and friend to many!

 

She loves camping, her job working with kids and working on her amazing yard! She

also enjoys time with her family.

 

Two years ago, she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which was removed.

Months ago Sayward started having issues with her vision and severe headaches. . Most recently, her headaches and vision continued to worsen.

 

She has been careflighted for swelling and brain bleeds and taken by ambulance for blood clots in her legs. She has a cranial spinal fluid leak. She still has two (2) tumors on her brain.

 

Her husband Ryan has spent quite some time at the Inn at Renown, fuel costs and bills that they will need help with.

 

Currently, she has a long road ahead of her being diagnosed with cancer and tumors on her brain. However, she went back into E.R. as instructed because her incision started to leak fluid, so she is back in the hospital. She will be having surgery to remove the infected plate , have a picc line placed in to be on heavy antibiotics for 26 weeks and then will have another surgery to have the plate put back in. At that time she will begin radiation and treatment for the tumors on her brain.

 

She has been in and out of the hospital since being diagnosed. She is out of work for the time being.

 

I have created the gofundme to help with travel expenses, hotel/motel rooms as needed and bills that may not get covered by insurance.
