For more than 17 years, I’ve been building GuitarPCB into something much larger than a place to buy guitar pedal PCBs. Along the way, I’ve built a global community of builders, worked with distributors, and provided an online resource filled with build information, guides and support that has helped thousands of people pursue their own projects.

I’m particularly excited about where things are heading now with NostalgiTone. I’m developing specialized tools for achieving sounds that normally require a particular combination of equipment, settings or techniques, bringing studio-style processing, unique tone-shaping concepts and iconic artist-inspired “secret weapons” into practical, buildable pedal formats.

The projects I’m developing span standard guitar, drop tunings and bass, but the goal is much broader than creating more everyday pedals. The goal is to explore ideas that give builders and players new ways to create, combine and control great tones.

ROCK-Q is one example of that approach. It takes the concept of the classic MXR 6-band EQ and gives it a new direction, with fixed EQ curves designed around specific tonal applications. Future versions can be tailored toward iconic sounds and artists, creating an instant, one-stomp approach to those carefully shaped tones.

I’m asking for help with a short-term financial gap that has made it increasingly difficult to keep funding new development while also keeping everything else moving. PCB production and development costs have risen substantially, while sales have been unusually slow. I’ve continued developing new products because I believe strongly in what I’m building, but right now I need some breathing room to get through this difficult period and keep that work moving forward.

I’ve set a goal of $2,000. Reaching that goal would make a meaningful difference by helping cover immediate expenses and allowing me to keep moving forward with the projects I’m working so hard to bring to life.

After 17+ years of building GuitarPCB, I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished together, and I’m not ready to stop building yet.
