Help Support the Mullen Family

A few weeks ago, our dear friend Carol was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Carol and her husband Mike are currently seeking several opinions to determine next steps. While they know surgery to remove the tumor is inevitable, they are carefully coming up with a medical plan to work with their family’s needs. The discovery of this tumor has changed their lives and they are in need of financial and emotional support. Carol is unable to drive due to the tumor causing seizures and Mike has begun to take work off to care for Carol and their two kids. He has had to take a hiatus from working his weekend job caring for two adults with autism and once surgery happens, Mike will need to take a leave of absence from his job as a Special Education teacher to care for the family.

The funds raised from GoFundMe will go towards covering the financial burden of not receiving a paycheck, any unexpected medical bills and to help the family with daily financial needs (bills, food, mortgage, etc) that they have during this time.

Please consider helping this wonderful family during their time of need. This is a really challenging time for Carol because she cannot do what she loves on her own at the moment. We want the financial burden of going through this process, whether it be taking some extra time off from work, putting dinner on the table when everyone is exhausted, or opening and paying whatever bill comes to them to be stress free.
