Help Support The Morris Family

On Tuesday 19 November, Ben suffered a massive heart attack whilst playing basketball. Thankfully with the quick action of the staff and players Ben survived this traumatic incident but unfortunately he is unable to return to work to provide for his family for the next coming months as he recovers. Ben is self employed and this will no doubt have a huge impact on his family.

Bens heart attacks comes after a tough 12 months where Ben and Nikki have faced many challenges that most families won’t have to experience. First it was Nikki going into have a simple hernia surgery operation that resulted in her coming out paralysed in one leg and with severe pain that lead to her needing to take 4 months off work.

Then their son Brayden had to be hospitalised in Sydney due to a suspected spinal fluid leak. The family packed up and followed him to Sydney in preparation for major brain surgery. Thankfully they had the best outcome with Brayden having a cyst behind his nose that was causing the leak and turned out to be a simple operation.

Ben was currently working 7 days a week with his own business trying to provide for his family and catch up on all the missed days when he and Nikki weren’t able to work.
