Help Support The Michaud Family

Hi, my name is Megan. Matt's wife, Kristan and her family have been near and dear to me for over ten years. I can't imagine the stress and pain they are all going through as Matt continues his journey with cancer. I am starting this Go Fund Me page to help out their sweet family and alleviate a little bit of financial stress for them all.

As most of you know, Matt was diagnosed with a rare stomach cancer three years ago. He had surgery and was in remission for about a year and a half. Unfortunately, this past summer, a CT scan found that cancer had returned to Matt's liver. Matt has been doing chemotherapy like a champ for the last six months. Despite the chemo being successful in the past, it is no longer working to shrink the tumors. His team of doctors has decided that surgery is the best course of action. They will go in and remove 40% of his liver next month. It is a huge surgery, but it is the best shot at him having more time with his beautiful family.

Along with this surgery comes a lot of stress and cost. Matt's wife will be going to Kelowna to stay with him. They will have to stay in Kelowna for at least two weeks. We are asking for a little bit of help from family and friends during this time. This financial help will lessen the stress for Matt and his family so they can focus on healing and beating Cancer!
