Our beloved Tony is in the fight of his life. What began as a sudden illness quickly spiraled into a critical battle — one that has left him on daily dialysis, hooked to machines, and fighting through the fog of sedation and medical trauma.

Just a few weeks ago, their world was turned upside down when Tony was rushed to the ICU due to a life-threatening infection and still no inclination of the underlying cause. Watching someone you love fight for their life is something no family should ever have to go through. Thankfully, by the grace of God, the prayers of you all near and far, and the incredible work of the medical team, he pulled through and is now on the long road to recovery.

But this journey is far from over. He is still incredibly weak, with no clear timeline for when he’ll be well enough to return to work—or even regain his normal daily life. Throughout this terrifying ordeal, his wife has not left his side. She has spent every day and night with him, advocating for him, caring for him, and holding their family together with every ounce of strength she has.

Both of them are self-employed, which means there is no safety net. No paid time off. No vacation days. No employer benefits. When they don’t work, they don’t earn. And now, they’ve both been out of work for weeks—with no real idea when that will change.

On top of the emotional weight they’re carrying, the financial pressure is mounting. They still have a mortgage to pay. Utilities. Groceries. Gas. Medical bills. And most importantly, they have two young children who need love, care, and stability through all of this.
