Marquis was involved in an accidental explosion while working as the sole provider to support his family.  He is currently at the burn unit in San Antonio to receive treatment for the 35% of his body that has been badly burned.  Trish is home with their four young children ages 2 - 9. 

Financially, they are really in need of support.  Medical bills aside,  all the life bills like rent/car/insurance/gas/groceries/diapers/etc are weighing on Trish right now, as well as when she looks to the time ahead that Marquis will be out of work and healing.  It takes about a two hour drive for her to even be able to get to the hospital to see him. 

Having just moved in the last two months, they do not have a local support network so I want to reach out to their friends and family who are out of state.  While store gift cards for groceries & necessities, gas cards, etc would be super helpful and can still be sent, we felt like having one place for donations to be made would help people help them. 

The sooner the financial burdens they are facing can be lifted, the better they can focus full attention towards healing and being back together.
