On Saturday, July 17th, in the afternoon Justin and Leandra Madrigal encountered a call that no parent ever wants to receive. Elious had run into an altercation with a 17-year-old boy, who had no mercy at Elious' expense. Elious tried to deescalate the situation, but for reasons completely unknown, the boy had ulterior motives. This boy pulled a knife out on Elious and stabbed him around 10-12 times, per the surgeon's expertise and examination. Elious was stabbed in the arms, legs, in the back twice, and in the stomach causing through and through piercings in his stomach and his intestines. He was taken into emergency surgery where the medical team at St. James Healthcare in Butte, Montana spent hours repairing the wounds. This was a heinous act of pure evil, which Elious, nor anyone else, deserved. The Madrigal Family is going through a very hard time right now as Elious is still admitted at St. James Healthcare and is, now, in recovery. Justin and Leandra have five additional children at home that still need to be tended to, so you can imagine the stress they are under.
