Help support the Luton & Dunstable Hospital NICU heroes!

Hi my name is Holly and I am fundraising for the Luton & Dunstable Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). My daughter, Tilly, was born very unexpectedly in May 2023 14 weeks early at 26 weeks exactly. She weighed just 1lb 14oz. Tilly had a 10 week stay at the NICU before she was allowed to come home to us. Tilly is now a thriving 16 month old (13 months corrected) with no health problems. This is all thanks to expert care she received.

The NICU staff were all incredible! Every single one of them was supportive, kind and never made us feel like an inconvenience. There was support for breastfeeding, counselling available (during and after Tilly's stay) and you were always treated with kindness and respect. They made the most difficult time of our lives that bit easier. The NICU staff are real life angels sent to us to take care of our most vulnerable babies and I'd love to give something back to them. NHS budgets are stretched further than ever before and the L&D NICU can only continue their incredible work if they receive additional support.
