Expecting it to be like any other day, the unimaginable happened on Monday, May 22 when Ron didn't return home from work. He suffered from a brain aneurysm during a break from his part-time shift at UPS, and life forever changed for his life partner Diana and their two daughters. As a community, we’re heartbroken by their sudden loss and are rallying support for Diana and her girls. We hope you will join us.

The shock of this loss comes less than two weeks after one of their highest family moments when they celebrated Diana receiving her degree from Cal State East Bay. As a proud 1st generation student who worked full-time while raising their daughters, Ron's support and encouragement were critical to Diana achieving this dream. We know Bay Area living can be a daily financial struggle and we want finances to be one less thing she needs to worry about as they deal with the trauma of losing Ron.

Your gift will support future living costs to secure the family from financial hardship while navigating this tragically, emotional time. Any funds raised in excess of our goal will allow us to set-up college funds for the girls so they can pursue their dreams like their amazing Mom.
