My name is Kyley Haynes - Our neighbors and good friends, Megan and Brian Lance took their little girl to the ER with a fever on Tuesday and never thought she would be admitted and later intubated due to severe pneumonia. What was thought to be a cold turned into something no parent deserves to go through. Aliceyn was sent to Neumours Childrens Hospital Tuesday afternoon by ambulance and had a chest tube and pic line placed Wednesday morning. After being intubated for surgery they were unable to extubate Aliceyn so she is currently resting with a machine helping her breathe. Aliceyn's doctors have told Megan and Brian they will be in the hospital for a minimum of 10 days. Both Megan and Brian will be out of work for the duration of her stay and she will continue to need care after being released. The hospital also dropped a bomb today that they do not take their health insurance so that will be another financial hit. Please help this family get through the hardest time of their lives, helping to relive this financial burden even a little bit will allow them to be there for their daughter as she heals and gets back to her sweet self.
