Hello everyone. My name is Janett Williams-Guillaume and I'm again coming to you today to ask for your help on behalf of the students from the Kilmarnock All-Age School in Jamaica (Pre-school department). My previous fundraiser for technologies for grades 1-6 raised a total of $7340 with your support, and with that, I was able to purchase computers, tablets, laminators, projectors, a scanner, a printer, and a copier which the students desperately needed. This school was fundamental in molding my educational achievements and I want to take the opportunity to give back to this community. I recently visited the school and saw the condition. The pre-school wing of the school that once housed the students aged 3-5 years old was no longer habitable and had to be closed. The roof is collapsing, the windows are broken and significant repairs are needed for it to be safe enough for the children. Those kids are now cramped in one small room, without the space they need to learn. Today, with your generous contribution, I am on a mission to help the school and the community renovate this wing and put these 35 pre-schoolers, and future preschoolers, back into their much-needed classroom.
