Help Support the Kahra Family in Their Time of Loss

On Mon, December 16th, we lost a remarkable man, Luther Kahra. Luther’s passing has left his wife, Trichel, their five children — Luther III, Jade, Jaxen, Parys, and Eliza — and all of us who loved him heartbroken. While the pain of this loss is overwhelming, we take comfort in the strong legacy of faith and love that Luther leaves behind.

Luther was a man whose faith in the Lord was unwavering.

He believed deeply in the power of prayer, the strength of community, and the grace of God, which guided him through every challenge life presented. His commitment to his family was evident in everything he did. Whether it dressing in costume for any event or making sure his wife Trichel felt supported in every way, Luther was a devoted husband, father, and friend.

One of Luther’s most cherished gifts was his sense of humor. He had a knack for delivering perfectly timed (although sometimes awkward!) jokes and clever remarks that always seemed to catch people off guard, but they were always followed by laughter.

Luther’s infectious laugh and quick wit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As we navigate this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for your support in covering the unexpected expenses related to his funeral and memorial services.

But beyond that, we also want to help Trichel, who will understandably need time to care for herself and her children as they process this profound loss. Your financial support will also assist with the practical realities of their lives as she adjusts to new responsibilities and works to find a sense of normalcy once more.
