On Friday, September 18th, my brother Jackson was involved in a devastating car accident on his way to work. He was hit from behind by a negligent driver, pushing his vehicle violently into the car ahead of him. The impact of the crash was catastrophic. Jackson suffered a severe head injury and was unresponsive at the scene. He was rushed to the hospital and is in the ICU, where he remains unconscious and is currently receiving critical, round-the-clock medical care.

Because Jackson has suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI), doctors cannot yet tell us how long his recovery will take or what the full extent of his injuries will be. He is fighting for his life and he and his family have an incredibly challenging road ahead.
