. The Hosmer family has walked an incredibly difficult road over the past year and half. Last April, Renee and Chris were devastated to learn that Renee had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Over the following nine months, Renee endured 12 rounds of chemotherapy, had her bile duct stent replaced three times, and bravely underwent a major Whipple surgery, which required an 8-day hospital stay. She also completed 27 fractions of radiation therapy.

Recently, Renee began experiencing stomach discomfort. After some concerning test results and scans showing a spot on her lungs, Renee shared on her Pray for Renee Facebook page that she has now been diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer that has spread to her lungs. The family is awaiting her next scan to determine the path forward with treatment.

As you can imagine, this journey has taken an immense toll on Renee, Chris, and their precious children. If you are able, we ask that you consider helping this wonderful family with the costs of meals, medical bills, gas to and from appointments, and any other needs that may arise as Chris lovingly cares for his wife and their kids.
