Help support the Gupton Family

Our Dad, Ron, passed away on May 8th. Ronda and I are in need of money to help pay for his cremation, celebration of life, attorney fees and his bills as we navigate probate. Dad did not have a will or a trust. He was pretty healthy until he got the infections and we thought we had more time. We have no idea what this will in tail.

We are absolutely devastated that that both of our parents are gone. We have been caretaking them 24/7 for so long we feel pretty lost right now. Due to caretaking our parents we have been unable to work so our savings is also depleted.

A little more about our dad, he was a Vietnam Vet, firefighter and fire chief at Napa State Hospital from 1978 to 2001. He married our Mom, Nena, in 1969 they were together until she died in 2023. They retired to Ukiah for 20 years and lived next to our Mema, our maternal grandmother, until she passed away. They moved back to valley in 2022 living at Vineyard Valley in St Helena. He loved his wife, his children, his firefighters and everyone at the hospital and his family and friends. He loved being the President of the volunteers firefighting association and having the annual fire fighting muster. He loved training all the firefighters in the valley at our house every year. He loved music, camping, going to Fort Bragg with our mom and he loved to tell stories. He was a great story teller.
