Help Support The Gloucester County K9's

The current vehicle in use by the Sheriff’s Office is a 2015 Ford Explorer, which was set up and specifically designed for the transport and deployment of one animal. The success and expansion of their K-9 program now has one handler for both Duke and Zeus, two dogs with very different training and skills for specific deployment scenarios. The very nature and often immediate need of their work requires both dogs to be on the road and available when the K-9 deputy is working.

The current vehicle is, by county replacement policy, expected to be in use for at least an additional one or two years.  I am hoping, with the support of our community, that we can raise the funding needed for the Sheriff’s Office to purchase a full-sized Tahoe, equipped with the specialized law enforcement and canine specific equipment that enables the K-9 officer and his dogs to perform at their best.  Failing that, any funds obtained short of this goal will be donated towards the purchase of equipment supporting the K-9 division.
