Help Support The Gates Family In Tragic Times

Several hours ago I received a call from a neighbor and very close family friend that my dad had suddenly passed away.

My dad was my only surviving parent. My mom had passed away at the end of 2013, when I was 11. In addition, I have a sister who is special needs, and my dad was the primary caretaker of her, as I am away at college right now.

I depended on him for many things and am having a difficult time navigating where to go from here. I am very new to the adult world of making phone calls and calling lawyers and going through paperwork, and can tell it will be an immense struggle moving forward from here on out.

I am not asking for pity, in fact I hate begging people for money. But I am struggling right now, and any support in the grieving process would be incredibly appreciated, especially when it comes to providing care for my special needs sister.
